Learners are presented the LOs.

Checking of the hometask.

1.Warm up

[W] Ls revise the sports from the PPT, say in English, Kazakh and Russian.

2.Practice

Ls are to complete FA worksheet on types of sport and name them.

Ls study the PPT. Repeat after the teacher the names of types of sports and guess then in mother tongue. Ls make notes if they need.

Ts points that we use these names with the verb “to go”

3. Ph. Training GAME “Show sport”

[[G][f] Learners perform ‘do and say’ sports chants for other class members to follow. Learners in groups of 8. One learner starts chant: ‘Do this [sports action] x 4’ and then says ‘Say the sport’ for other members to say.

Listening to and answering questions about sports names, equipment, clothing etc. in a group sports quiz.

4. Practice

Ls play bingo game. T names the sport and Ls say ‘Bingo’ by the end.

Ls play online game on types of sports.

Ls are suggested to strat a words search game and complete it as a H/T.

Learners give feedback to each other. This might be done in oral form.
