Link with Prior Learning – Clock Song Gap Fill

- Tell students that now they will review some of their diurnal/nocturnal animals and be introduced to their new topic: time

-Play the Hickory Dickory Dock song one time & encourage students to write down as many words as they can recognize. Tell them to try to spell correctly. Do NOT show the video this time.

-Play the song again. Show the video and tell students to check their answers.

Warm up

Play ‘Guess time’ game.

Time Practice

Review telling time with the first page of this PDF – partner activity with drawing the clocks. Ask you partner what time it is and draw the clock.
